There are several options for musically serving in our worship services. Children's Choirs

KidzSing Choir

The KidzSing choir is open for incoming 1st through 4th graders. Music activities will include a focus on singing with a few instruments added to enhance the learning experience. This choir will sing in both the traditional and contemporary services periodically throughout the year. This group meets on Sunday mornings. Karen Alessandrini, Director of Children's Music and Arts at St. Luke's is a Miami University grad. Mrs. Alessandrini has over 15 years of elementary education experience and over 30 years of involvement in various musical activities. She has assisted with the KidzSing choir and M.A.D. camp for several years, and now is the director of these activities.

Genesis Choir

The Genesis Choir is designed to teach musical components to 3-year-olds through Kindergarten. Activities will include movement, playing rhythm instruments, and singing sacred songs. The group meets on Sunday mornings and will perform in both the contemporary and traditional services throughout the year. This group is led by Donita Murphy-Sims, a Developmental Play Therapist with Indiana First Steps.

Jubilation Choir

The Jubilation choir is designed for students in 5th-8th grade. These students will be provided with the opportunity to participate in worship for all services at St. Luke's. Students will also learn how to lead worship for fellow Middle Schoolers at the Lodge, both vocally and instrumentally. This group meets on Sunday mornings at Luke's Lodge. Karen Alessandrini, the new Director of Children's Music, will lead this group.
