Pastor Rob Fuquay was appointed the fifth senior pastor of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in 2011. Rob has led growing congregations in a variety of settings for several decades. Before moving to Indianapolis, Rob was the senior pastor of Williamson’s Chapel UMC in Mooresville, NC.
Rob graduated from Pfeiffer College (now Pfeiffer University), in 1984, with a B.A. in Religion, and Candler School of Theology, Emory University, in 1987, with a M.Div. degree.
Rob has written The God We Can Know, a 7-week study designed for the entire congregation to explore the “I Am” sayings of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. And more recently he wrote the book, Take the Flag, Following God’s Signals in the Race of Your Life, which finds symbolism in NASCAR’s racing flags and applies them on the course of your faith journey.
Rob and his wife, Susan, have three daughters: Julie, Sarah and Anna. He loves the mountains, hiking, playing golf, attending his daughters’ activities, exercising, traveling, and watching college basketball (yes, both Duke AND Butler!).
Eric joins the staff from Nashville, Tenn., where he attended Vanderbilt Divinity School, and helped launch a small group ministry for a large United Methodist congregation. You'll know Eric when you see him. He's the tall guy in the bow tie. He really likes coffee.
This Michigan native and Ivy Leaguer is happy to be back in the Midwest and working side-by-side with his wife in ministry. With three young children, he is looking forward to working with families at various milestone events so that deep connections are encouraged and strengthened within our congregation!
Keeping everyone "in the loop" about the goings-on at St. Luke’s is Deleath’s primary goal. The secondary goal is to enable the enrichment of spiritual lives through the ensuing involvement and participation in a myriad of opportunities. If all of this can be done with good humor, even better!
Anna was born and raised in Nashville, TN where she picked up a love of music and a love for her church. More specifically, she loves helping others find and build community within the church. When she's not posting on St. Luke's social media, you can probably find her enjoying the local arts scene or eating Mexican food.
A Miami University grad, Karen joins the staff of St. Luke's with over 15 years of elementary education experience and over 30 years of involvement in various music activities. She is a wife and mother of 3 strong-willed daughters and a very energetic dog. IKEA is her happy place and she is affectionately known to her friends and family as the "Dancing Queen!"
